Information from Thursday, January 24, 2013

First, I clarified that the foregoing was from Tuesday.  Bonnie, a trainer, spoke to us about breeds of dogs I believe Wednesday. We have class time and lecture at 6:30 p.m. Mike Breckenridge was so funny about not wanting to touch his dog's poop, and yet he smokes. He said he had not changed his children's diapers and he'd be damned if he did that. He was not going to do it.  Today, we had burgers and fries. In the morning, I had grapefruit. Wednesday, we had scrambled eggs and English muffin. We had roast beef, salad and chips for lunch, (I think). We had cabbage, stringed beans, rice pilaf and meat loaf on Wednesday night. Tuesday night it was chicken thighs and peas and potatoes, I think. Yesterday morning, Noelle did not eat. We went to the Science and Industry Center. Wayne worked with me on Tuesday afternoon. My strength was 91 and 141 on two machines. Cecilia has carpal tunnel. Finally, Pam said to just leave Noelle alone, and she'd eat. She'd eat, stop, and look around especially if she heard a door open, close, someone coming in or going out. We practiced obedience starting Wednesday morning, and evening and Thursday morning. We practiced sits, downs, stays, and distractions. I had grapefruit this morning, and two hamburger patties and French fries for lunch. Noelle was shivering on Thursday morning downtown Columbus. She has barked and growled, and is very alert. I lent Cecilia my earmuffs. On Thursday, we went downtown with the bus twice. On Wednesday, we walked quite a bit. Allen and I are a team. We are both returnees and congenitally blind and similar to each other. On Wednesday, we learned there are 23 parts to a dog. We met Janice Wednesday, who takes our lunch orders, and Ray Tuesday afternoon, I think. I learned about Iphone letters Tuesday and Wednesday. We played hangman on the Iphone Tuesday, and worked with letters in notes Wednesday. Allen is a good teacher. Mike asked about whether he could change his dog's name. Tuesday night, Mack and I discussed religion, faith, and philosophy. He said I am so open-minded.
