Blast from the past
I am going to post an article that was written by a fantastic reporter F. Joseph Spieler when I was 17 about the "Blind Power Movement." He phoned me, and I missed his call. He phoned today, and I am so grateful to kitty Kroger www.kittykroger.com for doing her sixties and seventies blog, and had me featured. She researched and footnoted all the events and places I mentioned. Because she unearthed this article from the "Village Voice." I am connecting with people, and crying. Gerry, Pat and the reporter all got connected with me. What influences inform our lives, and form our opinions, beliefs and so on? Pat said she is still self-hating, and suicidal. Gerry said it was amazing what we did given the few resources we had. It was so pivotal to us. I'll keep you posted. I want to write a bok, and maybe a documentary about us. We were ahead of our time. Lynne01
